Save and restore to original location

I don't know if this can be done or if this might interfere with the way DiskTuna DFR was build ,but I'd like to see an option "save and and restore to original location".

Hi,

It would risk overwriting the data you are trying to recover. What you want is, unfortunately a big no-no in data recovery.

What you want is: If you had deleted

x:\myfolder\myfile.fil

To re-appear

x:\myfolder\myfile.fil

Correct?

What could happen if you want to undelete a bunch of files:

x:\myfolder\myfile1.fil
x:\myfolder\myfile2.fil
x:\myfolder\myfile3.fil
x:\myfolder\myfile4.fil
x:\myfolder\myfile5.fil

While we were recovering x:\myfolder\myfile1.fil we may very well be overwriting x:\myfolder\myfile5.fil ...

So how about creating a similar folder structure somewhere else?
The deleted and recovered file could be automatically saved to:
y:\Recovered data\myfolder\myfile.fil
